The second edition of our newsletter 'Anamaya' is released (Link). The work for the third edition is going on in full swing. In parallel, we have started the process of recruiting new members from first year students in the newsletter team. They will take over the responsibility when current batch of 2nd year students complete their tenure. The overlapping two months will go into internship for new members.
While making announcement for new member drive at the end of today's field activity session at Jnan Ghosh stadium, IIT Kharagpur, the current newsletter team was on stage - on full glare of 900 strong audience. Their effort was applauded by fellow team members. We mentioned the skill-set required to be part of this team. We also mentioned that compared to other special activities, the intensity of engagement, the sense of responsibility need to be higher here. There is appreciation from fellow members for carrying the message of the team forward and there can be rebuke too, for falling short! If one is have it in him / her, one should come forward! (We received request from 3 first years - 2 girls and 1 boy already - Yes, we have the skill and we are not afraid of challenges!! )
Reading up to this, if any of our reader wonders if there had been :-) ...., we would humbly say that we are always on task and we are always learning.
