We have assembled in the Jnan Ghosh
Stadium early in the Saturday morning. The students came in full
number. The session was very enjoyable. Due to election in Gymkhana in the last
night, PTIs could not join in this session. New programme officer Prof. Ratan
Joarder conducted the session. After
brief exercise, the students took a round in the stadium. The session was

the atmosphere. The students came in full number. The session was very

Three units of NSO Health and fitness (Unit
1, 9 and 10) have organized a short Yoga session named, “Yoga for Mind
Power," as part of their special activity in TATA Sports Complex. It was targeted to the students to make them aware about the healthy
life style and how Yoga can help in the process.
The session was carefully composed to
introduce few simple yoga practice/tips for mind control, breathing, exercising,
steps to relax the mind before the exam, and focusing the thoughts and
anxiety/stress managements. The students have keenly followed the practices under
the tutelage of the experience instructor. However, to get full benefit of Yoga
more training and regular practice will be needed.
The take home message of the Yoga activity is
“Love Yourself” and by enhancing the "Mind Power" one can improve the

morning. The session was less crowded as three units have left for Yoga
training as special activity. Rest of the students have came in full strength

session from 5:30AM. It was a pleasant spring morning. The session was very
