Session: 15th November 2017

We assembled in the Jnan Ghosh stadium on wednesday, 15th November at 5:45 AM. As it was drizzling a bit, the exercises were conducted in the stands. The students also participated in meditation. 
This was the last class to be held in Autumn 2017-18 semester. All the teachers and the instructors of the program wished the students the very best for their exams. At the end of the class snacks were distributed to all the students. A few images of the activity are given below.

Sessions: 8th and 11th November 2017

We assembled in the Jnan Ghosh stadium on wednesday, 8th November and saturday, 11th  November at 5:45 AM. The students organised themselves into their Units and participated in exercises. On 11th, the participation certificates for the students who took part in disaster management training program held during the previous semester were distributed at the end of the class.

Session: 1st November 2017

We assembled in the Jnan Ghosh stadium on wednesday, 1st November at 5:45 AM. The students organised themselves into their Units and participated in exercises. 
Announcement was made regarding no NSO (H&F) field activity on account of Guru Nanak's Birthday on saturday, 4th November.

Session: 28th October 2017

On 28th Oct 2017 (saturday), we  assembled in the Jnan Ghosh stadium for a Yoga session for all the units. The students arrived with their Yoga mat / bedsheet to perform Yoga on. This session was conducted by Prof. Amit Ghosh from the School of Energy Science and Engineering (NSO (H&F) Program Officer, Unit 7). The class began at 5:45 AM and lasted for an hour. Suryanamaskars were performed followed by relaxation and breathing exercises.

Session: 25th October 2017

On wednesday, 25th October, we did not have the field activity in the morning. Instead, we assembled in Netaji auditorium in the evening at 6:00 PM to participate in a motivational talk, "24 Minutes in 24 Hours" by Swami Anand Giri, a Yoga Guru from Allahabad. The talk spanned for about an hour. The students got to learn a lot from the knowledgeable speaker and it will help us keep ourselves both physically and emotionally fit.

We assembled in the Jnan Ghosh stadium on wednesday, 18th October and saturday, 21st October at 5:30 AM. The students organised themselves into their Units and participated in exercises. On 21st, as the ground was wet due to rains on the previous day, the activity was carried out in the gallery of Jnan Ghosh stadium.
